Trunk or Treat Attendee Policy

Where:  19751 Mainstreet (Back parking lot of O’Brien Park)

We're excited to have you join us for a fun, safe, and family-friendly Halloween celebration. To help ensure a smooth experience for all guests, please review and follow the attendee policies below:

1. Admission & Timed Entry

  • This is a free event, but all attendees must reserve a timed entry ticket in advance. This includes our Sensory Hour attendees as well. Please see details regarding Sensory Hour at the end of this document. 

  • All children must have a ticket, regardless of age. PARENTS DO NOT REQUIRE A TICKET FOR ENTRY. 

  • Do not reserve space during sensory hour if your family does not require it as this time is very limited and meant to be inclusive for members of our community who count on this time.

  • Each ticket grants access for a 45-minute window to allow all families a chance to enjoy the event without overcrowding.

  • Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled entry time. Late arrivals may not be guaranteed full access. We will start checking 10 minutes prior to gates opening. We will not be able to grant access until your time of entry of your reserved ticket.

2. Parental Supervision Required

  • Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

  • This event is designed for families and young trick-or-treaters. Please keep your children close and help them navigate safely.

  • Unaccompanied minors will not be allowed to enter or remain at the event.

3. Safety First

  • Costumes are encouraged, but weapons (real or costume) are not allowed.

  • All treat stations are "trunk-or-treat" style – please approach each vehicle or booth in an orderly, one-way flow as directed by event staff.

  • Please do not run, push, or skip lines.

  • Follow all posted signage and instructions from event staff and volunteers.

4. Treats & Allergies

  • THIS IS NOT A NUT FREE EVENT. 

  • Candy and non-candy treats will be handed out by approved vendors/participants.

  • To ensure the enjoyment of all attendees, children will be limited to 1 item per trunk

  • PLEASE NOTE NUTS/ALLERGENS MAY BE PRESENT. 

  • While stations may offer allergy-friendly options, Parents are responsible for checking all treats before consumption. 

  • If your child has a severe allergy, consider bringing your own safe treats or using a designated teal pumpkin bag to signal allergy concerns.

5. Respect the Community

  • Help us keep Downtown Parker clean by using trash and recycling bins.

  • Be respectful of local businesses, homes, and public property.

  • No smoking, vaping, or alcohol is allowed at the event.

  • If anyone in your party is posing a safety issue or disturbance during the event, you may be asked to leave

6. Photography & Media

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. Full Media Release is below

  • If you prefer not to be included in any media, please speak with the event organizer upon arrival.

Photo & Video Release Statement: By attending Downtown Parker events, you understand and agree that you may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. These images and recordings may be used by the Downtown Business Alliance and the Downtown Parker Business Improvement District (BID) for promotional, marketing, and public relations purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, newsletters, and other communication channels. Attendance at an event constitutes your consent to such photography, filming, and use of your image without payment or further notice. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify an event organizer on-site.

❌ 7. Prohibited Items & Behavior

  • No weapons, fireworks, illegal substances, or disruptive behavior will be tolerated.

  • Event staff reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if they are not following event policies or creating an unsafe environment.

8. Lost & Found / Emergency Assistance

  • A designated Lost & Found / First Aid booth will be available near the main entrance.

  • In case of emergency, locate the nearest staff member wearing a reflective vest or call 911 if necessary.

9. Sensory Hour: 1:00pm-2:00pm

  • We are proud to offer a designated Sensory Hour to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals who experience sensory sensitivities.

  • During this hour, we will reduce lighting, minimize loud noises, and limit crowd size (where possible) to support guests with sensory processing needs, including individuals with autism, PTSD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodivergent conditions. Caregivers, family members, and allies are welcome.

  • Please note that at 2pm, we will turn the event over to General Admission as well as have live music and lights. If this environment will create challenges for your child, please try to vacate at least 10 minutes prior if possible for their comfort.
