Downtown Parker Launches First Winter Passport Program to Help Visitors Discover New Favorite Local Businesses

PARKER, Colo. — Downtown Parker is introducing its first Winter Passport program, a new initiative designed to help residents and visitors discover their next favorite local business while exploring Mainstreet. The program invites the community to spend time in downtown Parker by visiting a mix of shopping and dining destinations located across Mainstreet, with participating businesses on both the east and west sides of Parker Road. As part of ongoing efforts to highlight things to do in Parker, and support small businesses, the Winter Passport creates a simple, engaging way for people to experience more of what makes Parker downtown a go-to destination.

Participants can pick up a Winter Passport at participating Downtown Parker businesses, or print a copy online, and receive a stamp each time they spend at least $20 at a participating location. Each business may stamp the passport once, and guests who collect stamps from multiple stops across Parker Mainstreet can track their progress as they explore more of the district. Completed passports with at least 10 stamps must be submitted by March 31, either online or at The Local.

As an added incentive, participants who turn in a passport with the required 10 stamps will be entered for a chance to win gift cards to participating downtown Parker businesses. Several prize levels will be awarded, giving winners the opportunity to return and enjoy more shopping, dining, and local experiences in Parker CO.

The Winter Passport program runs through March 31 and is part of Downtown Parker’s continued commitment to creating meaningful Parker events and encouraging the community to spend time supporting the businesses that keep Mainstreet Parker vibrant.
