Parker, Colorado — February 2026 — A longtime Parker Mainstreet staple, Las Delicias, will transition to new local ownership and become El Delicious – Tex Mex in February 2026, marking a rare and inspiring employee-to-owner success story. This beloved Mainstreet eatery will usher in a new chapter of ownership, vision, and service.
As the current owners take steps toward retirement, ownership of the restaurant will pass to Juan Andrade, affectionately known to many customers as John. Juan began working at Las Delicias more than 30 years ago at just 18 years old and has been a dedicated part of the restaurant’s heart and culture ever since. Under his leadership, the restaurant will move toward an employee-owned model, reinforcing its commitment to the people who have helped make it a Main Street favorite for decades.
While the name and vision are evolving, longtime customers can rest assured that the Las Delicias classics they love are here to stay. All customer-favorite menu items will continue, with an expanded menu launching in February that introduces additional Tex-Mex offerings inspired by Juan’s family recipes.
The restaurant will close briefly for a few days in early February to prepare for the transition. When doors reopen, guests can expect to see the same familiar and friendly faces, led by longtime manager Jesus “Chuy”, along with gradual interior and operational improvements rolling out in the months ahead.
Opportunities for longtime employees to step into ownership are rare in the restaurant industry, making this transition especially meaningful for the Parker community.
