October in Downtown Parker

October marks the true start of the holiday season in Downtown Parker — when Mainstreet is decked out in pumpkins, twinkle lights, and cozy charm. The start of the season marks a new chapter for shops and restaurants in Downtown Parker, and kicks off the local’s favorite events. Looking for things to do this month? We’ve got you covered!

Mark Your Calendar for These October Events

If you’re looking for a little Halloween fun, Trunk or Treat on Mainstreet is back on Saturday, October 18 from 1–5 p.m. in the Parker Station rear parking lot. Up to 60 local businesses will decorate their trunks and hand out candy, making it the perfect family event for all ages. Costumes, creativity, and community — it’s everything we love about fall in Parker.

For something a little more nostalgic, Stars Hollow Day returns to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls. The event will begin and end in Downtown Parker, with themed stops including lunch at the diner, shopping in the market, and plenty of “coffee, coffee, coffee!” VIP tickets ($60) include a cozy Gilmore Girls-inspired sweatshirt and tote bag, while general tickets ($25) include a tote and goodies to enjoy along the way.

It’s also your last chance to catch the Parker Farmers Market before it wraps up for the season. Open every Sunday through Halloween, the market hosts over 100 vendors offering local produce, meats, baked goods, handmade items, and more. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning downtown.

Sip And Savor The Season

And while you’re here, take in the flavors of fall. Stop by Fika Coffee House for a cozy seasonal drink (pumpkin spice fans, rejoice!) or swing by Cencalli Taqueria for their Everyday Happy Hour from 2–5 p.m. — the perfect spot to warm up with tacos, margaritas, and good company.

Prep Your House for Halloween

Need to freshen up your home for the season? The Nest and The Local are both brimming with fall and Halloween decor, handcrafted gifts, and home goods that make downtown shopping feel special. From festive candles to cozy textiles, these shops capture the heart of Mainstreet charm.

Look Forward to More Holiday Fun!

And before the holidays sneak up, don’t forget to swing by Rory’s Diner to pre-order your homemade holiday pies for pickup on December 24 between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Looking to get even more involved downtown? The Christmas Parade is right around the corner, and sponsorship opportunities are now open. It’s one of Parker’s most beloved traditions — and a wonderful way to be part of the holiday magic.
